Application
Application Rules:
-Certain characters canonically have great influence over dimensional travel (such as Yuuko from xxxHolic or one of the Data Integration Thought Entity humanoid interfaces from Haruhi Suzumiya, i.e. Yuki and Ryoko) will have a greater influence in the setting than normal, or are just extremely high-powered and can potentially affect the game in major ways. Playing one often requires some special plot integration, and require a player to have established themselves by playing another character before they will be accepted.
-AU settings are generally allowed on a case-to-case basis, but no more than one of the same character can be a permanent member of Planeocracy. If the AU is significantly different and established (such as the Genderbend of Haruhi Suzumiya) then it is generally allowed, as the characters are different enough from the main source to be distinct. Apping an AU character uses the standard application procedure, but if the AU doesn't meet our requirements, we may deny them on that basis. Here are the qualifications for if your AU is acceptable:
1. Significantly different from the source material. Minor tweaks to history and/or personality don't make an AU different enough to really be worth accepting for us. For an AU to be accepted it needs to have something major different to differentiate it from the canon.
2. Internally consistent. In most cases you'll be coming up with the AU yourself, so you need to make sure it all makes sense within the setting. So, if something changes, the whole setting obviously has to change as a result, and we need to know how.
3. This isn't absolutely necessary, but if at all possible the character will look at least somewhat different from their canon counterpart. This is primarily to help differentiate if we have both.
If you are thinking of apping an AU of a character, please get a hold of all potential castmates as well as any person playing the same character (if this is applicable). This is required for your application to be accepted.
-Original characters are permitted, they use the same application form but require far more detail as far as background and setting. If they are a part of an existing canon, they cannot have any ties to actual canonical characters or visible connection to events (attributing events in-canon to the character that are otherwise unattributed may be permissible but is generally discouraged). As with canon characters, you are limited to two OCs, even if the OCs are from different universes. Planeocracy canon originals can use any of the settings posted in the setting information post that specifically say they are open, and must conform to the general concepts of the world. It is HIGHLY advised to speak to the mod team before making the character, these characters can be rejected automatically if they do not follow the general concepts of the established world.
-You may only have one application in queue at a time. If you would like to submit a second app, you must wait until your first has been processed.
Application Template:
Looked over the community? Brushed up on all 31,561,021 Confuto Ordinatio rules and regulations? Filled out all your forms in triplicate? Looks like you're ready to get that Gate Key! Just fill out the following form and submit it to the Executive Subcommittee of Other-Planar Affairs! That Gate Key should be yours in 5-7 business days!
The following is an alternate form that can be used in place of a musebox sample post. It takes the form of an application and interview as if the character were applying for a job. Respond to the questions in-character, if you or your character doesn't know what they're asking for indicate it in some way. The character can lie if doing so is in character, but indicate they are doing it by writing "[LIE]" before the answer to the question.

Character Name: Rita Mordio
Canon: Tales of Vesperia
Background: http://aselia.wikia.com/wiki/Rita_Mordio
http://www.giantbomb.com/rita-mordio/94-4207/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_of_Vesperia#Characters
Setting Information: Rita is from the same world as Estelle, so this is not needed :)
Portal Location: In Rita's Lab in Aspio
Personality:Rita is a very strong, independent person, mainly due to her living alone for so long. She is one that speaks her mind easily, even if it pisses off people around her. She will punch you and blast you with magic if you piss her off.
She gets very obsessed about new things to research and if she finds something she doesn't know, she will reasearch it and try to decifer it. Interupt her research, and you'll get a fire ball to the face. She will also start to ramble on about how it is made and it's faults for hours if no one stops her.
Though she also has a careing side. Once she gets to know you well, she will act more friendly. She also has a Tsundere personality, and will act shy or nervous if you point out something about her, or catch her off gaurd. She does not show it much, and most of the time the reaction will be a punch in the face, but if its to someone she is friends with, she starts stuttering and blushing.
She also has a thing for cats, and finds them very cute. She sometimes talks in her sleep. More like chants spells in her sleep. and sometimes they actually cast. She also is someone that likes to dish out pain rather then take it, so she will result to violence a lot when someone pisses her off. She really hates perverted comments, and really goes all out on them.
She's not the best cook, and just throws things together. One time, she put a banana between two pieces of bread. She opens herself up more to friends, and gets very shy, flushed, and embarrassed when they comment about her. If someone she is not close to try's to, its either a whatever or a punch in the face.
She is known to tune out everything when she goes into research mode, and start taking notes or doing calculations in her head, even in the middle of a conversation.
She is very close to Estelle, and is best friends with her. She responds very different to Estelle then to the others. Though to someone watching, it could be mistaken for more then that, and I feel Rita does feel that way for Estelle, so that will be coming over to here.
Reason for Joining: Rita is joining for 2 reasons. 1, her love of research and discovery is a huge drive. She see's this as a chance to discover technology that doesn't need to run on Blastia. 2, Estelle is here, and she want's to be near here at all times. She wants to protect Estelle, and she is her best friend... and maybe more.
Position Desired: Agent. That gives her the most chances to see the world.
Point in Canon: This Rita is a few months into Post game.
Notes: Nothing I can think of.
Sample Post: http://famed-mage.livejournal.com/ everything in there.
