Application
Application Rules:
-Certain characters canonically have great influence over dimensional travel (such as Yuuko from xxxHolic or one of the Data Integration Thought Entity humanoid interfaces from Haruhi Suzumiya, i.e. Yuki and Ryoko) will have a greater influence in the setting than normal, or are just extremely high-powered and can potentially affect the game in major ways. Playing one often requires some special plot integration, and require a player to have established themselves by playing another character before they will be accepted.
-AU settings are generally allowed on a case-to-case basis, but no more than one of the same character can be a permanent member of Planeocracy. If the AU is significantly different and established (such as the Genderbend of Haruhi Suzumiya) then it is generally allowed, as the characters are different enough from the main source to be distinct. Apping an AU character uses the standard application procedure, but if the AU doesn't meet our requirements, we may deny them on that basis. Here are the qualifications for if your AU is acceptable:
1. Significantly different from the source material. Minor tweaks to history and/or personality don't make an AU different enough to really be worth accepting for us. For an AU to be accepted it needs to have something major different to differentiate it from the canon.
2. Internally consistent. In most cases you'll be coming up with the AU yourself, so you need to make sure it all makes sense within the setting. So, if something changes, the whole setting obviously has to change as a result, and we need to know how.
3. This isn't absolutely necessary, but if at all possible the character will look at least somewhat different from their canon counterpart. This is primarily to help differentiate if we have both.
If you are thinking of apping an AU of a character, please get a hold of all potential castmates as well as any person playing the same character (if this is applicable). This is required for your application to be accepted.
-Original characters are permitted, they use the same application form but require far more detail as far as background and setting. If they are a part of an existing canon, they cannot have any ties to actual canonical characters or visible connection to events (attributing events in-canon to the character that are otherwise unattributed may be permissible but is generally discouraged). As with canon characters, you are limited to two OCs, even if the OCs are from different universes. Planeocracy canon originals can use any of the settings posted in the setting information post that specifically say they are open, and must conform to the general concepts of the world. It is HIGHLY advised to speak to the mod team before making the character, these characters can be rejected automatically if they do not follow the general concepts of the established world.
-You may only have one application in queue at a time. If you would like to submit a second app, you must wait until your first has been processed.
Application Template:
Looked over the community? Brushed up on all 31,561,021 Confuto Ordinatio rules and regulations? Filled out all your forms in triplicate? Looks like you're ready to get that Gate Key! Just fill out the following form and submit it to the Executive Subcommittee of Other-Planar Affairs! That Gate Key should be yours in 5-7 business days!
The following is an alternate form that can be used in place of a musebox sample post. It takes the form of an application and interview as if the character were applying for a job. Respond to the questions in-character, if you or your character doesn't know what they're asking for indicate it in some way. The character can lie if doing so is in character, but indicate they are doing it by writing "[LIE]" before the answer to the question.

Canon: Disgaea Universe, but from the Prinny Canon
Setting Information: http://disgaea.wikia.com/wiki/Prinny:_Can_I_Really_Be_the_Hero%3F
Personality: Asagi has had a rough life. She has had her game canceled, she was forced to work for a book, and when she thought she might have gotten a game, Baal stole it from her. As such, she thinks the world is out to get her. She is very paranoid, and if she even thinks you are trying to steal her game, or take her role as main character, she will attack you. Though after she loses, she gets depressed and starts crying, saying she will never find her own game, and the programmers are just toying with her, making her a gag character.
Saying Asagi is obsessed with being a main character would be a huge understatement. Her whole life and existence revolves on her finding her own game and becoming a main character. Because of this, she talks about main characters, plot points, extra bosses, and anything else game related constantly, and anyone who isn't from a world with 4th wall breaking will think she is crazy. She also Studies from books on how to be a main character, plays games to see what the best main character would be, and even tries to hack the programing of the game she is in to max out her levels, all to make her a better main character. She often will reference other games, but not by exact name. An example of this is Asagi went ant played some fighting games(most likely Dead or Alive) and found that the females should have huge boobs. So, she ate a mushroom(Mario) to make her boobs grow big. This did not work of course.
Asgai, while generally a nice person, also is seen to of moments when she flips out, and starts letting all of her anger out at people. In the Prinny game, she had a Brooklyn, and would badmouth the main character, the game itself, and even the people playing the game. After a few moments of this, she reverts to her regular speech, confused on why shy talks that way, and worried if this is something new to make her a gag character. She mainly gets angry if someone points out how crazy she is acting, or when she loses a fight, or if she gets frustrated that she when she fails at something.
*Note, the following is what I view to be her past, since very little is shown about Asagi* Now, why Asagi tries so desperately to be a main character comes from her tragic past. Asagi was an orphan, never knowing her parents. She was raised in an orphanage her whole life. She grew up reading stories about great heroes, and how they were loved by all and remembered for all time. Asgai dreamed of one day becoming such a hero, so people would know she existed, love her, and remember her. So, she trained to become the greatest hero ever, but not just strength, but in how a main character in any book and story should act. She might not have always used the best examples, like fighting games and comic books, but she worked hard at it, till one day she was promised her own game. Just when she thought she reached her dream, the game was canceled in favor of a game based on demons. Asagi was crushed, but she would not give up. She went to the Netherworld, determined to she the world that she could be better main character then any demon could.
Point in Canon: I'm taking Asagi right before the final battle in her mode in the Prinny game, because at the end she dies and becomes a prinny, and I don't want to play Prinny Asagi, even though she is cute. In the second game she is a playable character, but only in a hidden mode and only as a prinny. If I found out she become human again after that, then I'll move her up to that point.
Notes: Only thing I ca say that different in this Netherworld compared to the regular Netherworld is that Prinnies can actually be dangerous, if they are wearing a magic scarf. Also, do not steal Pudding if you don't want to be killed by a crazed Loli demon.
