Ability Changes: All powers are removed from people and are made manifest as a living creature called a digimon, which can shift into larger and more powerful forms via a process called Evolution. Ability Limitations: Ridiculously powerful. Form Restrictions: Human only. Powers become a form of a digimon representive of them. Social Restrictions: Humans are hated in the Digital World, and most people do not have a digimon partner in the human world, so those with abilities would have to worry about DATS agents coming into contact with you and causing an incident if they aren't careful. Notes: Additional Information: The human world is your average, normal, current time Earth. Nothing special. However, occasionally, a rift appears. These rifts connect to the Digital World.
The Digital World is a much more strange place. It's undeveloped, yet shows signs of high technology in the most random of places, like a fancy hotel hanging upside-down below an oceanside cliff. There are treacherous mountain ranges, covered in an infinite blizzard, deep jungles with so much foliage that they swallow up the sun, bubbling swamps with gas so thick that it can be toxic, beautiful sandy beaches, dense forests, wide plains, deep canyons, active volcanoes, and even a rumored city in the sky. Those who are unprepared may fall victim to the environment alone, and those who do not, probably will become the prey of the numerous Digimon species that roam around. Most Digimon are wild, but there are some that follow the will of stronger Digimon who rule over some of the regions. These powerful Digimon are rarely seen, but make their presence known when the need arises. There is also one sacred area that contains the God of the Digital World, Yggdrasil. Few are said to have ever seen this place, and even fewer actually know how to get there. Inside of the Digital World, time passes differently. A couple of days in the Human World may be two months in the Digital World. Landscapes may change drastically, mountains forming in moments, and whole islands splitting apart. In actuality, the Digital World is more like a large computer network, and somewhat of a trash bin. This explains the highly fluctuating landscape, as well as the oddities like abandoned amusement parks, restaurants in the middle of forests, upside down hotels on the underside of a cliff, etc. For some more info, and some locations, check out this link.
