Re: Thomas 1/?

Personality: Thomas is a kind young man. That is the first impression people will get, and it is indeed true. The other first impression one gets is that he is weak, and on the meek side, but the later couldn’t be further from the truth.

While he is extremely easy going and quite helpful, he does possess a stubborn streak and strength of will that take people by surprise. He acts on his conviction that everyone can get along if they try, and goes out of his way to protect people unless they prove to him that they are vile (it takes a lot to make someone like him to wash his hands of something). And even if it means he is forced to confront people who are stronger and/or have more authority then he does, Thomas will not back down – as shown in his helping Hugo, a near stranger to escape from Zexan authorities, risking his career, and most notably in Luc’s chapter, he was blasted away by the much more powerful Luc no less then six times, but he always stood up to protect Sarasai, admitting that yes, Luc scares him – but no, he won’t run away.

Thomas had previously been the quiet young man who is too shy for his own good, and willing to bend over backwards to be accepted by anyone, but this started to change when his father essentially exiled him to Budehuc Castle. Although he’s still somewhat shy, he has grown as a leader, able to give orders when needed, and he has an almost intuitive understanding of what people need, offering assistance right when it’s needed. Even his shyness now is almost more of quiet charisma, letting him befriend people easily, earning their trust.

While he is a good leader, unlike others who shared his star in the series, he is not a warrior. Before he left the Nameless States, he never really picked up a sword and his skill with Rune Magic is average at best. Thomas is also a little frail, not being physically strong, but the Castle’s weapon master stated that he is quite good at parrying and other more nimble skills if he actually got up to practice. But Thomas would rather make peace, go swimming (his skills there is quite excellent), or helping around the Castle than swing his blade. On a more humorous note, he has quite the sweet tooth but cannot abide any spice and has been known to faint if any food he’s given is too hot. There is the fact he apparently has situational acrophobia, refusing to climb ladders or go on any “Unsteady” high ground, and won’t budge if anyone try to force him up.

Reason for Joining: Thomas is almost the archetypical example of Neutral Good, he already helped to fend off one attempt at destroying his part of the world, and he is NOT going to sit back and watch someone else take a whack at it.

Position Desired: Councilor. While Thomas is willing to go on missions, he is not the strongest character, and considering his canon role is one of an organizer, estate manager, landlord and recruiter he has all the skills a councilor should have. Not to mention the general reaction to a fifteen-year-old boy in this position

Point in Canon: Post-Game

Notes: Warning: Elves are Bastards, Warning: Great Power comes with Great Curses And/or Insanity Warning: Badass Ducks Warning: Run if the Moe Magician Sniffles Warning: Killer Rabbits
