Canon Updates

The structure of Planeocracy is such that characters are able and encouraged to return to their worlds and continue with their own destinies. As such, canon updating is frequent and generally painless.

If you wish to canon update your character, post here with the point in time you are updating to and why you are updating. Please try to keep spoilers minimal, you can be vague and we will ask for more information via private information if we feel it is necessary. After posting, a mod will reply. If we approve your update (which will happen at least 90% of the time), you are free to post as updated.

If denied, there will be an extensive description as to why the update has been denied, and ways you can sort it out. Simply respond to our concerns in your next comment and it will be processed as usual. Denial will almost always be attached to major changes to canon, or potentially to events we are planning involving your world (these events will always be cleared with you first, so in theory you should know it's coming).

We ask that you not canon update more than once a month, we may deny your update if you attempt to update too frequently.

I'd like to Canon update to chapter 4 of King Abaddon. Basically Ishigami-Cho had appeared during the P3/P4 plot.

The big difference now is the Earthquakes are very frequent, but once every few hours, sometimes one right after the other.

Also, as Raidou keeps traveling from the Capital to Tsukigata village, he finds a second portal in Tento Woods of said village.

I will like to make a canon update for Asagi

Right now I have her right before her final battle with Hero Prinny from the first prinny Game. I would like to move her to just before the start of Asagi wars in Prinny 2.

What happened was she had one last fight with the Prinny... with herself dressed as a prinny. She thinks this will make her a great main character, and she can show the world who is better. She loses of course, and it is shown she put a bomb in her suit, for some reason(possible to be me prinny like). She can't get the suit off in time and it explodes, killing her. After the Credits roll it is shown she has been reincarnated as a prinny, with her own little white scarf so she doesn't explode when thrown, and her color is a bit darker. Since then she has been working for Etna in her castle.

I'd like a canon-update for Sonic.

At the moment he is after the '06 storyline (that didn't exist) with both Storybook plots thrown in as products of a wild imagination and too many chili dogs before bedtime. >_>

I'd like to update him into the Unleashed plotline. This means Eggman actually getting the better of him for once (a humbling thing for a very not-humble Hedgehog) and a possible short stint as a part-time Werehog, which in CO itself won't mean much since there's no such thing as night there...

The robot blitzkrieg job is meant to dovetail into this storyline, since Unleashed literally begins with him making his way to the Egg Carrier for yet another showdown.

Okay, so apparently Lockon shouldn't have Cherudim right now, since if the Gundam Wiki is to be believed it got built into Zabanya instead of repaired. So I want to fix that, now that I've actually seen what Zabanya can do. He'll only be bumped up a few months, though -- not to the point of the movie yet.

Well, though this is an original setting - things will be shaken up a bit enough to warrant a notification.

http://community.livejournal.com/planelogs/14543.html - the intended plan for this thread was for the Philosopher stone getting destroyed and 'tainting' the world with the power and drop into the earth. While at first this wouldn't seem to do much, but actually...

The dead, particular those who died of violence or regret get yanked back as spirits - but only the particularly strong-willed people. They got got particular traits:

-They're Corporal, being able to manipulate the environment and can be touched.
-They cast no shadow
-They don't make a sound if they walk, even if they're walking with spurs on a wooden plank
-If they ride, it's always on a pale horse, and the horse vanishes when they're not traveling
-They're almost single-minded in their earthly goal, usually Revenge or to right a wrong.
-They only go away if their sense of need is fulfilled, or someone finds their body and reburies it with blessings.

Raidou will be Canon updated to the next chapter. The changes:

Anyone who was possessing a Luck locust has been attacked and killed by giant fuck-off locusts. Raidou had to endure a ritual trial to forge someone that can actually kill the Locusts. After that, someone who attempted to assume a god-like position did not realize what it is and thus:

Instead of one giant fuck off locust, there's dozens thanks to this idiot. Thankfully after some causalities they moved off to Tsukigata and left the Capital.

The other thing?

There's a gigantic RED HOLE in the sky with a large gray-black orb floating in it. The rest of the sky is just gray clouds. And this has made the average man on the street everything nervous and on the border of going into full pledge mass panic.

basically: Big red hole in sky everywhere, giant death bugs in Tsukigata village.

If it's alright, I'd like to canon-update Marona up to episode 12, right after returning from the Rainbow Bird chase on the Island of Evil. This will mean she has now purchased the deed to Phantom Island, making it hers. It also means that she doesn't actually need to work as a Chroma any longer.

Canon updating Ike to the middle of Chapter 5. He'll have some actual combat experience under his belt, but what's most notable is that Crimea was invaded by Daein and Ike found a princess who, as far as the public knew, didn't exist and brought her back to the fort. Ike will return very shortly before Daein's attack on the fort.

Only kind of a canon update, but I figured I'd ask officially:

I'd like for Souji to be able to get his ultimate Persona, Izanagi-no-Okami, out of the current player-run event by finally facing his own Shadow - normally he gets it from an optional boss fight against Margaret in a New Game+. It makes sense, and prevents me from jumping through ontological hoops and screwing with his CR to get him to go through a New Game+ "in game".

Canon Update

-Soma met Yoko Belnades, a Witch-Nun who warned him that Graham's not to be trusted and he has the power to "command and control monsters" and it's dark

-Then he meets the mysterious "J" who is an amnesiac with a connection to the castle.

-Graham realizes he has this power, and starts going evil bad guy with threats.

-The major power changes he'll get is a Headhunter Soul - which increases his power with each soul take, Nemesis - basically emits a "Not My Problem" field around Soma, Death - basically summoning a rain of flying sickles, Kali/Curly - turn into an avatar of the monster to basically have a burst of incredible strength, Undine - Walking on Water. He does have a few new elemental attacks, but those above are the only real notable additions.

Time for Ike's next canon update!

Current Canon Point:Chapter 5, pre-battle

-The Greil Mercenaries drive off a Daein attack and flee.

Chapter 6: A Brief Diversion
-Greil takes Shinon and Gatrie to double back and distract the pursuing Daein troops.
-Ike and the rest of the Greil Mercenaries smash a Daein border guard and get Elincia into Gallia.
-Ike orders Rolf and Mist to take Elincia further while he takes the rest of the mercenaries and doubles back into Crimea to look for the others.

Chapter 7: Shades of Evil
-Daein springs a trap upon Ike's group in an abandoned castle.
-Ike meets and recruits Mia.
-Greil, Shinon, and Gatrie arrive. Greil challenges General Petrine to single combat.
-The Greil Mercenaries defeat the Daein troops and Greil fights Petrine to a draw.
-Troops from Gallia arrive, forcing Daein to withdraw. The Gallian soldiers escort the Greil Mercenaries to Gebal Castle, an abandoned castle on the Gallian side of the border, while they take Elincia to meet King Caineghis.
-Greil leaves the castle in the middle of the night, and Ike follows. Ike watches Greil duel the Black Knight -- and receive a mortal wound.
-The Black Knight makes demands of Greil, but is forced to withdraw by Caineghis's intervention. Ike tries to carry Greil back to the castle, but Greil dies on Ike's back.

Chapter 8: Despair and Hope
-Ike buries Greil and bids his farewells with Mist.
-Ike becomes the new commander of the Greil Mercenaries, and Shinon and Gatrie choose to leave.
-Ike meets with a merchants' caravan who also took shelter in Gebal Castle and makes a deal with them -- the Greil Mercenaries will offer them protection, and the merchants will offer them their services.
-Daein soldiers attack the castle. In the midst of the battle, Ike meets Ilyana, a mage who was traveling with the caravan and impressed into Daein's service, and brings her over.
-The Greil Mercenaries try to fight off Daein, but are outmatched. They are rescued by the timely arrival of Lethe and Mordecai, a pair of Gallian warriors.
-Ike is informed that King Caineghis is ready to meet the Greil Mercenaries, and plans are made for a departure the following day.

-Ike recruits Marcia, a pegasus knight from Begnion.
-The Greil Mercenaries rout the Daein solders and seize the fort.
-The Greil Mercenaries reach the king's castle, and receive an audience with Caineghis. Caineghis tells Ike that he was born in Gallia and that he knew Greil personally, but knew nothing more of his past. He also says that he cannot grant Elincia sanctuary because the other high-ranking Gallians won't stand for it, and suggests turning to Begnion.
-Ike agrees to escort Elincia back to a Crimean port and into Begnion. Caineghis assigns Lethe and Mordecai to go with them, and for Ranulf to act as an escort.

Chapter 10: Prisoner Release
-On the way back to the Crimean coast, the Greil Mercenaries pass a castle where prisoners are being held. They decide to break in and release the prisoners to bolster their numbers.
-A thief named Volke appears looking for Greil, claiming to have a report. Upon hearing that Greil was slain, he tells Ike he can have the report for 50,000 gold. In the meantime, the Greil Mercenaries take up his services as a thief.
-In the prison, the Greil Mercenaries release the knight Kieran, and the militiamen Brom and Nephenee, as well as a purported pilgrim named Sephiran. Kieran, Brom, and Nephenee are incorporated into the group.

Chapter 11: Blood Runs Red
-The Greil Mercenaries reach Toha, and Ranulf meets with his contact, a dragon laguz named Nasir, to get a ship.
-Ranulf is discovered to be a laguz, and is set upon by a mob of villagers. When Ike tries to intervene, a villager alerts the Daein troops at the entrance to town. Daein seals off the town and sets up its troops, with the help of a group of local vigilantes. The Black Knight shows up, but Ike maintains a grasp on his desire for revenge.
-Either Lethe or Mordecai recruits a vigilante by the name of Zihark.
-The Greil Mercenaries reach the dock, and Nasir's ship sets sail.

Chapter 12: A Strange Land
-Ike and Nasir find a stowaway named Sothe. Ike recruits him.
-The ship is pursued by some Kilvas corsairs onto a reef, where it runs aground. The Greil Mercenaries are forced to fight the pirates on the deck.
-A Daein soldier named Jill, who had been following them since they left Toha, decided to assist in driving off the pirates.
-After the pirates had been driven off, Ike went ashore to get help. He was confronted by Goldoan soldiers, who ordered him to get back on his ship, but then the Goldoan prince, Kurthnaga, stepped in. He ordered the soldiers to push the ship off the reef, and offered to restock their supplies.

Chapter 13: A Guiding Wind
-Nasir's ship comes across two ships doing battle. One is a Begnion ship, the other carries no flag but the sailors are too organized to be pirates. They decide to intervene on behalf of the Begnion vessel.
-A Begnion noble named Astrid offers her aid, and brings with her her hired bodyguard and former member of the Greil Mercenaries, Gatrie.
-The combined forces of the Greil Mercenaries and the Begnion soldiers succeed in driving off the alleged pirates (actually Daein soldiers out to capture Elincia). In the process, they learn that the ship has as its primary passenger the apostle -- but she's missing.
-Ike finds an injured child and tries to help her, only for her to get indignant and declare that she's the apostle Sanaki. This claim turns out to be true.
-The Greil Mercenaries are guided to port in Begnion's capital, Sienne, two months after leaving port at Toha.

Chapter 14: Training
-Elincia receives an audience before Sanaki and the Senate to plead her case. Sanaki declares that she has no proof of her claims, leading to a heartfelt testimony from Ike, then dismisses Ike's testimony since he's a commoner and informs them that Sephiran, really the Prime Minister of Begnion, vouched for her identity. She was playing a game with Elincia for her own amusement, which led to Ike yelling at her and the Senate and nearly losing his head for doing so.
-After the meeting, Ike apologizes to Elincia for the outburst, but Elincia thanks him for sticking up for her.

Current Canon Point: End of Chapter 20

Chapter 21
-Lucia speaks with Sara in a prophetic dream, remembering the phrase "protect the child from the wings".
-Kaito goes overseas for a surfing competition. He gives her the key to his house.
-Lucia hears a child's voice from the orange princess pearl.
-Lucia encounters Michel, a four-winged angel who claims to have stolen "that young man's power" (Lucia has no idea what he's talking about). He threatens to steal her own powers if she doesn't join him, but interrupts himself with a painful coughing fit and runs away.
-A news report on TV reveals that Kaito has fallen victim to a freak accident at his competition and has gone missing. Lucia runs away.
-In what may or may not be a dream, Lucia thinks she sees Kaito telling her to go somewhere. She follows an orange light underwater, not stopping or realizing where she's going until she comes upon ruins all the way in the Indian Ocean. Sara projects her spirit there from under the seal (it turns out that this was her castle once) and assures Lucia that no descendant of the king of the Panthalassa could possibly die by drowning, so accident or not, he must be alive. The child's voice speaks again; it belongs to Seira, destined successor of Sara, who needs to be born from the orange princess pearl so there can be seven princesses again.
-Michel tries to get Lucia to join him in his plan to eliminate humans. Lucia refuses, and Michel interrupts Seira's birth ceremony, stealing the pieces of her heart and leaving Seira not yet born. Thanks to Sara, Lucia manages to take the orange princess pearl back before Michel can steal it. Lucia learns that Michel has stolen Kaito's power and is behind his disappearance.
-Lucia wakes up in her room above Pearl Bathhouse. No one even remembers her running away, but they believe her story.
-The new school year begins. Kaito returns to school safe and sound, but he is accompanied by a clingy new girl named Michal, and he has completely forgotten the past two years. He even believes that Michal, not Lucia, is the one who saved his life as a child. Lucia pretends she's fine with it and runs off to sulk by herself so no one else will see her depressed.

Current Canon Point: Chapter 14, Base

-The Greil Mercenaries eliminate a group of bandits peddling a mysterious cargo. During the fight, they encounter two Feral Ones -- laguz driven insane and locked in their animal forms. Marcia recruits her brother, Makalov.

Chapter 15: The Feral Frontier
-The Greil Mercenaries are sent to the Grann Desert to deal with another group of bandits. Upon arrival, they discover that the bandits are all laguz.
-Either Lethe or Mordecai recruits the swordmaster Stefan.
-Upon defeating their leader, Muarim, the Greil Mercenaries enter the Zunanma Ruins, which they had been using as their base. There they encounter a young beorc boy, Tormod.
-Tormod tells the Greil Mercenaries that they had been fighting the laguz slave trade in Begnion. While there was a ban on laguz slaves and the commoners obeyed it, the Senate did not.
-Ike takes Tormod back to meet Sanaki and get the full story.

Chapter 16: The Atonement
-Ike gets the truth out of Sanaki. The Senate is indeed still secretly participating in the laguz slave trade, and she used the last two missions to educate the Greil Mercenaries on what was going on. She wanted to do something about it.
-The Greil Mercenaries were instructed to investigate the villa of Lord Oliver, the Duke of Tanas, due to suspicious activity taking place there.

Current canon point: Mid-Chapter 21.

Chapter 21
-Lucia meets the revived Black Beauty Sisters, who are now working for Michel. When she refuses to join them, they attack. She's saved by Hanon and Rina.
-Lucia gets a lecture about hiding your true feelings and how it's not the end of the world if you're depressed because your boyfriend has laser-guided amnesia.
-Seira regain: Friendship.
-Lucia goes to the Amagi mansion, lures Kaito out with her song, and tells him that she'll bring back his memories no matter what. Michal and Licht are spying on them like creepers and figure out what's going on.

Chapter 22
-Michal's decided that she's going to properly steal Kaito before he can remember Lucia, while Licht's decided that he's going to keep his sister from doing so because that is just not a nice thing to do.
-Lucia begins to tell Kaito what he was like before the accident to jog his memory.
-Seira regain: Love.

Chapter 23
-Licht approaches Lucia and tells her that he's on her side.
-Kaito slowly begins to remember things about Lucia, but can't connect them to her.
-Michel's servants use Michal to lure Kaito into the ocean, then use Kaito to lure Lucia in, then use Lucia to lure Hanon and Rina in, and it's all a big mess. The point is, everybody ends up in this weird-looking secret tower full of winged animals and double-helix-shaped pillars.
-Lucia learns that Michel and his servants are part of an ancient race that used to rule the world, hence their wanting to wipe out humans and take it back. They were revived by some third party they simply refer to as "him".
-Seira regain: Strength.
-Seira, in her fragmented state, manages to call forth Aqua Regina in enough capacity that the main trio gets a new song.
-Speaking of people coming back in spectral form, Gackt shows up, but instead of wanting to fight, he just drops hints about restoring his brother's memory.

Chapter 24
-Caren, Noel, and Coco rejoin the party.
-Hanon talks Lucia into breaking into Kaito's house to clean it while he's living with Licht and Michal. Predictably, she fails all over the place.
-And predictably, Kaito goes home and finds her in there. In the shower. Cries of PERVERT are, for once, averted out of pure shock. She ends up nearly confessing the truth, and finally, unknown to herself, triggers his memory.
-Seira gets a regain, but we're not entirely sure what it is.

Current Canon Point: Chapter 16, Base

-The Greil Mercenaries arrive at Oliver's villa. Ike orders Titania and Mist to scour the grounds, while the rest are taken on a guided tour of the villa by Oliver himself.
-The Greil Mercenaries see nothing out of the ordinary, but Titania and Mist come back and testify to seeing a laguz with white wings -- a member of the royal family of the heron clan. Unable to defend himself, Oliver orders his personal soldiers to kill the Greil Mercenaries.
-Soren, Mist, Rolf, Sothe, or Tormod recruits Devdan, a street performer press-ganged into Oliver's service.
-The Greil Mercenaries defeat Oliver's troops in the villa and reach the room where the heron royal, Reyson, is being held. Reyson rejects Ike, and flies off toward Serenes Forest. Oliver's troops soon follow.
-The Greil Mercenaries return to Mainal Cathedral, and Ike barges in on Sanaki, demanding to know the story of what happened 20 years ago.

Chapter 17: Day Breaks
-Sanaki relays the story of the Serenes Massacre to Ike and Elincia -- 20 years ago, the apostle Misaha was assassinated, and rumors put the blame on the heron clan. Enraged, the people of Begnion torched Serenes Forest, nearly driving the heron clan to extinction in the process. She then states that the herons were innocent.
-Sanaki declares her intentions to make amends with the herons, and asks Ike for his assistance one more time -- this time, to find Reyson and bring Sanaki to him, so that she may beg for forgiveness for what her people had done. Should he succeed, she promises to lend Begnion's full support to the Crimean cause.
